I have been watching the media for a while and found myself with a large amount of thing about different topics from all genres and sources from pieces of art to pieces of rotten comercial intent, people nowadays are very used to that sort of things and I personally am used to that to the point I only say: ''na''. I want to write and feel atractted to various topics from magic to sci-fi, fantasy, Gothic and dark a bit gory, violence, personally I want in a fiction work to be "complete" (intense emotion, violence, sexual matters but no comercial but in the amount that the story itself requieres to feel complete) like in a work of nonfiction want it to be brutally sincere. To make things short, I am working on a novel and a universe of fiction already have been working on it for 3 to 4 years and still feel to have a lot of road to walk; in my stories I want to show violence, problems, emotions, homosexuality and when needed erotic topics, please, don't misunderstand I am not going to show them like the way out or the fun way or something that gives a twisted view promoting something that the Bible says it's wrong. What I want to do is show them in the reality, like we do in our world (with some fiction sensation but only the must have). The fact is the world is not pink colour and there are gay Christians (I am not ok with it, for a time i thought was that way too, but finally I faced the fact that is a sinful life like the world promotes or leaving behind sin and following Jesus), violence, gory things and dark people, there are things without apparent logic explanation happening each day. I am talking about writing those topics about them using them but changing them to give an edifying message that can help people. I am between two sides or options: do it that way and give it my best changing things and doing Christian fiction "complete" (yes, that universe is created in a Christian cosmological vision) or to make puritan fiction (what a part of me sees like not doing something because of fear what I think is bad too)? Oh, and to finish, maybe I am being a bit to talky but i have this question: Can a Christian write secular fiction (create secular art too) not promote satanism but you know make cartoons and books without mentioning God or not doing it directly?
