2. When we think of Christianity, we seldom think about India. No wonder, India has shown to be a Hindu country. Yet, India is teaming with Christians from Catholic to Pentecostal. Did you know that there are more Christians in India than you may have once thought? Christianity is India's third-largest religion according to the census of 2011. With approximately 27.8 million followers, constituting 2.3 percent of India's population, According to Wikipedia. To this day, Christianity has grown even larger. So when did this explosion of faith start? The Beginning Christianity in India started back in the first century. The apostle Thomas chose to obey Jesus' words and preach the gospel to every creature. The road was a tough one for Thomas, just like the rest of the Apostles. The first place he stopped was in Chennai, India. Like today, India was full of idolatry. Yet, that did not stop Thomas. Even though Thomas got called "doubting Thomas," After that 1 on 1 with Jesus, he could claim to be a true believer. So shortly after our Lord ascended to the right hand of the father, Thomas knew what he had to do. As we know, the road from Jerusalem to India is a long one. It must have taken Thomas a long time to reach his destination. Thomas arrived on the Malabar coast of southwest India in A.D. 52. When he arrived, the anointing spread throughout India like a wildfire. As a matter of fact, it never stopped. When speaking to the Christians of Vellore, India in Tamil Nadu, they are so excited to share their testimonies. Many are converts from the Hindu religion. But, when the Lord moved on them, they could not resist Jesus. Just like with us, the Lord gave us an offer we could not refuse. Eternal life with him forever. My eyes water as I think of the day that I see so many Indians in heaven with me. The Most Christian Part of India Although India is full from all sides, Most of the Christians are in the Southern part of India. However, that will not be the case for long. Baptist and Presbyterian missionaries have taken the gospel to the northern parts of India. As far as rapid growth, the North is growing faster than the south did. In the book of Acts, we read: "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. - Acts 2:17-18 KJV In India, we see this prophecy taking place. Not only in India but all over the world. As a missionary, I have seen Jesus work in so many lives. However, he is not done yet. Lives and souls continue to transform in record time. An Influential Minority As a minority, Christians still suffer persecution. But like Thomas, they never let a rough time stop their mission. I was talking to a Christian pastor by the name of "Paradise Pastor." He had an interesting story to tell. He has started five churches throughout India. His road was almost stopped by a group of Hindus about ten years ago. He came to one village, and they almost beat him to death. A week later, the power of the Lord prevailed and not only did the Hindus accept him, but they paid for a new church. The power of Jesus can not be overtaken by any creature. India is living proof. Being a minority does not stop the gospel. At one time, All the Apostles were minorities as well. That is an encouragement for the rest of us to push through, no matter what life throws at us. Missionaries with Style Many missionaries came from England and America to teach the bible. They all came and with them, they brought their style. Every denomination that exists fro Catholics to baptists has come and gone. When one travels from church to church, it shows. Many modern day evangelists such as Benny Hinn and Joyce Meyer have been there. Even a few popes have traveled to India. It takes a lot to go preach in a hostile country such as India. But, the rewards far outweigh the troubles. India has passed a law that an evangelist from another country can not organize outdoor events. They must first get an evangelism visa. But, when they apply, the government rejects the visa and files the name in a database. Not only has that new law hindered the missionary field but slowed outside preachers to a crawl. However, that does not stop the Indian evangelists from spreading the gospel. I have met hundreds of them in a pastor's conference, I preached last year. They were all hungry to listen to a preacher from abroad. With each missionary, there come new ideas for reaching the lost. Final Thoughts As my trips to India get more frequent, I return to see many new faces. Christianity is here to stay. Many Indian pastors agree and move on that thought. Some villages are tough, but it does not slow us down. If anything, it speeds us up. With so many Hindus converting yearly, maybe on day we can say that Christianity is the major religion in India. But, until then, we must keep running the race that is set before us. Like Thomas, no can not be the acceptable answer. "It is too hard," or "I can't go on," must be stricken from out vocabulary. It's the same back home in out homes and jobs. As long as we do everything to the glory of God, we cannot fail. Luke 1:37 should be our motto: "For with God nothing shall be impossible." As we finish the race before us, we can look back and see victory in our wake! Bio: James Ledbetter is a Freelance Writer from Atlanta, GA. 5. Did you know that Content mills are really scams? If you are a writer, or someone wanting to hire a writer, Content Mills are the wrong way to go. If you Have had negative experiences in the past, Then this article is for you. What Other Writers say You'll discover varying conclusions about whether you ought to compose for content factories; such as iwriter, or Textbroker. I got burned by both companies, they get you to write for pennies, then they block you so they do not have to pay you. Part of the issue is their history: most content mills began requiring keyword rich (SEO) articles to fill destinations, get great web crawler positioning, drive heaps of movement, and eventually profit. At the time, a large part of the mills weren't excessively fastidious about the nature of composing. Therefore, an even larger part of the content was ineffectively composed and not saw as quality or genuine composition. They use this scam, to keep you from reaching your true potential. Why Keep Getting Burned? Let me ask you this, If you had a choice to continue going down a road that ends in oppression, verses a new, more brilliant path, would you stay on the same path? unfortunately, some like the burn, and choose to keep writing for terrible companies. Extremely low pay The other issue is extremely low pay. Numerous written work specialists say that if you are an expert author, you ought to send an expert level charge. Proficient authors for the most part attempt to win no less than 50 pennies or $1 per word, albeit some breaking into the field may compose for 10, 15 or 20 pennies a word to make up a portfolio and call for higher charges. Most content mills offer a level rate, normally just $1 to $2 per article, with a couple, similar to Demand Media, paying $20 to $35 or more for the same type of articles. That comes down to as low as 1 penny a word or less. A few factories pay through advertisement income, which is basically working for nothing, trusting people will read your article and tap on a promotion. I don't prescribe that alternative. In conclusion, It's best to hire an independent writer, then to keep getting burned over and over. I know If you are a client, An independent Writer might cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. If you are a writer, Pitch article ideas to magazines and news papers. That is the only way to go. If you are someone who thinks they do not have the right certifications to be a writer, read My qualifications of a writer, blog post.
6. The failing economy is like a sinking Ship! America is Cruising into dangerous economic seas, mainly due to our extremely high debts and inability to manufacture competitively. As we read daily, the stock market drifts up and down like a loose floorboard. The months ahead could determine the success or failure of the nation’s economic course; will we right the ship? It's very possible. Or will we sink into the history books as another former superpower like Ancient Rome? This is something to ponder as we watch our leaders fumble the ball. Vanishing Industry The desire to produce goods in America have all but become nonexistent; nearly all manufactured goods now come from overseas. Products from China, Japan, Taiwan, and other countries arrive to our shores at astronomical rates. The labor force is being quietly redeployed into lower-paying service, retail, hospitality, assembly, or distribution jobs that are transient and do not support communities, careers, or provide benefits. Just yesterday I was reading an article on how the food industry has elected to replace human workers with robots, but this is only one of the problems we face. Even vaunted finance, high-tech, medical and academic jobs are being pressured by the surfeit of talented college graduates who are dumping their elected disciplines to “show me the money” into these few remaining super profitable fields. Speaking of what we discussed it the previous paragraph, Could you imagine going in for a heart bypass and being told that a robot will be handling the complicated task? Greed has taken over the moral fibres of our nation. U.S. Dollar Sinking Fast America’s fundamental economic underlaying has been slipping. The indisputable evidence lies in the present devaluation of the U.S. currency. Foreign investments are reaching a all time high. In the past these investments were used to prop up our government’s deficits by lending to the Treasury, buying our corporate equities, 401k, and real estate, and providing jobs to our blue-collar workers. This will end soon. The Obama administration has pledged to eliminate the middle class, making us either lower class not having enough, or upper class having too much. My friends, without the middle class, how will our economy keep from slipping into the abyss? Central banks in Asia, the Middle East, and Switzerland are overflowing with trillions of U.S. dollars. Few goods are now produced using dollars, and fewer investment opportunities are available. Many of our best American companies have already been sold to foreign purchasers, creating an economic vacuum where additional lending and purchases of U.S. goods will require printing even more dollars, rendering further devaluation. This devaluation will result in even more inflation and higher prices for imported merchandise and commodities purchased. The advantage to American exporters will be even more available, but will be of little benefit to most in this country since so little of our economy is driven by manufacturing and exporting. As a matter of fact, we will be “committing Economic suicide” as the sale of companies will continue to be our chief export, producing the sinking ship effect. Mending the Ship while still afloat It’s time for mending our economic policies and priorities. American companies should be number one on your list. The made in America tag is still there. We must look to the government to help bring in solutions for the deficits principally caused by our inability to produce product competitively. The solution is to admit there is a problem, study it and treat the issue as a national priority, akin to the Great Depression of the 1930s. To accomplish this we must create conditions that promote profitable manufacturing through incentives, provide subsidies where they are absolutely needed, and reform our tax laws. We must also curtail irresponsible consumption, such as needless spending on needless things, and prevent the sale of our best companies to foreign companies. This is how it's done in other successful countries. The end result will be that it is more profitable to build domestically-owned factories, and more profitable to do research and engineering here rather than overseas. With this renewed interest will come jobs, tax dollars, pride and opportunities for all classes. This would be the first step to a system recovery. Why should we put all our assets Into another country's economy? Think about it my friends. Picture the economy making a comeback similar to the times after the great depression. Statistics show that it would take a significant amount of time, but it is plausible.
7. Welcome Athena, to Christian Writers.

8. Did you know, that 80% of people today that dream of being a writer, ends it there; because they do not believe they have the proper degree to be a writer? If you're looking for a career in writing, then it is a must to, stop what you're doing and read this article. I’ve learned one thing mentoring freelance writers, it’s this: Writers are hindered by lack of qualifications and certification. If this is you, then this is the article for you. The Average Writer I wish I had a penny for every time a writer said this to me: "I always wanted to succeed in a career as a professional writer, but I lack a journalism degree, I feel unqualified.” My dear friends, I have a journalism certification, and they make no difference in the jobs I get. The jobs I manage to receive are due to my spelling and grammar. Even before I finished school, I was able to land writing jobs. It' all about your presentation. It is not the certifications that make the writer This is going to shock you, but writing isn’t a career where certificates matter. Media companies are looking for spelling and grammar. Most ask for a sample article, and even give you a topic to write about. I wish more writers knew that. If they did, imagine the articles we would have available to read. The credentials you need to be a successful freelance writer or blogger are not earned at a university or technical college. Here is the good part. Are you ready? I have come up with the three credentials you will ever need: The first credential is Wonder When you’re told a pens story, do you find yourself asking questions about it? Do you Wonder what will happen next? Do you drive yourself to ask why this news has happened, and then, you feel compelled to learn more? Researching and taking notes, is the wonder you need. This is an essential for any writer. You need to explore. To ask questions, To know, And to share what you find out with the world through the words you write. That natural curiosity will take you far. Bravery The second credential you will need is to bravely face the void of doubt. One cannot be a writer unless they are willing to put it out there and face their doubt. You have to be willing to climb this mountain and post your flag at the top. You could be a brilliant writer sitting in your back bedroom typing alone. But without the courage to publish, you can’t build a career as a writer. You have to get out there and tell the world what you found. Last, but certainly not least, you need a thirst. Without the thirst to publish, you cannot be published. The thirst can only be quenched by your drive to get your article out there. 90% of all failed writers, did not have the thirst to be successful. They were only out to make a quick dollar. Writing is like art work, you have to put a little of yourself into your piece. Wonder, bravery and thirst are the drive of every successful writer, from Stephen King, to some writer in a basement somewhere. If you have these three things, you will succeed.
9. Have you ever Wondered, after the bakery incident, what will happen next? You all knew it was coming, another attack on Christians. If you are a true Christian, this is time to awaken from your slumber, and realise that the end is near. ChristianMingle just required new clients to indicate whether they're a man looking for a lady or a lady looking for a man. Two gay men recorded class-activities claims against the site's proprietor, California-based Spark Networks Inc., asserting that the site's restricted choices abused California's segregation law, The Wall Street Journal reported. The Main Stream Media Unfortunately, the mainstream media has put the worldly spin on the situation. Picture the headlines; The new ChristianMingle: "Where gay individuals discover incredible connections." State law obliges organizations to offer "full and equivalent" housing and administrations to individuals paying little heed to their sexual introduction. For those that do not know who Christian Mingle is, ChristianMingle.com is owned by Spark Networks Inc., which bases itself out of California. The condition of California has something many refer to as the "Unruh Civil Rights Act" which basically directs that any business needs to suit anybody whenever, regardless of the fact that it abuses your religious convictions. The company CEO, consented to pay both men $9,000 each and $450,000 in lawyers' charges. ChristianMingle.com is a web dating administration based on a customers that is...well, Christian. The site holds to Christian convictions that connections ought to happen between a man and a lady. The decisions mirror that by not giving you the choice of looking for a male in case you're a male, or female on the off chance that you are female, you know, the old normal. This maddened two gay men who endeavored to utilize it, clearly, and they set out to make the Christian site incorporate gay person connections too. Religious freedom lost in California, and the site will roll out improvements to its organization to incorporate gay person connections. I have never used the site, but I can imagine, that it was doing a service to fellow believers. Sadly the nets are closing around us, and eventually the enemy will have us silenced. According to Wikipedia, Christian Mingle was founded in 2001, and has been uniting Christian singles since then. The real sad part is this, there are millions of gay dating sites, why would they go after the only one they can not date other men/women? The bible specifically tells us this, that the beast will be given power over the saints, and overtake them. Is this not what has started happening? In conclusion, I invite all you to do your own research on this subject. I am broken hearted to see fellow Christians attacked in such manner; however, we were warned it would come. Let us not fall asleep, and be vigilant. The time is drawing near, of the return of our Lord Jesus. The world has been deceived by the powers that be. Keep watch dear beloved in Jesus name.
10. Sometimes We As Christians Forget, or do not know, what it means to walk by the Spirit. Life can be frustrating sometimes, But when we pick ourselves up after a fall, The Holy Spirit is there to guide us back to the light. If this sounds Like you, Grab a cup of coffee, and read this article. After some diligent research, I have found that walking in the Spirit is absolutely essential in our Christian lives. I have provided Scripture to help to discern the importance of Walking By The Spirit. Galatians 5:16-21 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. "For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. What Does This Mean? To live by the Spirit is to have our life reliant on and controlled by the Spirit, not by the law. This equivalents the stroll by the Spirit in v. 16 however, varies from the stroll by the Spirit in this verse. To walk Lit., stroll as indicated by the principles. The Greek word intends to watch the components , to stroll as indicated by the components, e.g ., to stroll in line, to walk in military rank, to keep in step; and, subordinately, to stroll in a deliberate, controlled way (cf. 6: 16 ; Acts 21: 24 ; Rom. 4: 12 and note ; Phil. 3: 16 and note 4 ). Both the Walk in v. 16 and the walk in this verse are by the Spirit and are managed by the Spirit. The previous alludes to a general, day by day walk; the last mentioned, to a walk that takes God's one of a kind objective as the bearing and motivation behind life, and a walk that takes after the Spirit as the basic control, the essential rule. Such a walk is developed by living in the new creation ( 6: 16 and note 2 ), by seeking after Christ with a specific end goal to pick up Him ( Phil. 3: 12 and notes ), and by honing the congregational life ( Rom. 12: 1-5 ; Eph. 4: 1-16 ), in this way satisfying God's expectation in Christ for the congregation. How Can We Make Sure We Are Walking By The Spirit? A whole lot of prayer, is the only way to accomplish this. Jesus is the only strength we have, and we can only obtain more by his assistance. In Romans 8:11 We read: "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you". The Spirit quickens, or in more modern words, strengthens, and only by him can we remain strong. Walking By the Spirit takes Prayer for strength. In todays Prayer, Pray for strength to walk by the Spirit.
