1. What Do You Do When God Says No?

Njoku, How interesting that you wrote about this! I just wrote a similar article last week on my blog (http://bit.ly/2xdTSgH). I love your sentence near the end: "Grace reaches out to you but Faith walks into it." So true! Keep writing! :-)
2. Early this morning, the Lord woke me and began releasing words of encouragement for the WOMEN in His Kingdom. These are not just "Esthers" and "Deborahs," as we have heard previously, but also "Annas," those welcoming new things of the Spirit for this new season. I heard Him saying: “There is a Spirit of GRACE upon My women today which will carry them through the next season. There is grace in the Spirit on them the way strength of the flesh rested upon Samson. These women will do mighty exploits in My Name, because they have believed. I am calling forth the “Annas:”* prophetic intercessors whose eyes have been opened to see the new season that is upon them. (As Anna welcomed the arrival of the age of Christ.) They will prophesy of the new miracles just birthed, identifying them to a deaf and blind people who cannot see My promises in their midst. These are the nurturers of the promise, women who cherish deeply the things of God. They will not only see these promises manifesting and identify them to others, but they will also take the promises in hand themselves and bless Me for them.” To continue reading, please click here.
3. As America's election decisions unfold, the Lord is stirring me to remind you that the warfare and deception we have seen on a national level applies to believers at an individual level. Satan, our enemy, is still "seeking whom he may devour." (1 Peter 5:8.) To forget this would be to surrender again to an apathy far more dangerous. Thankfully, many Christians have been stirred by the election process to wake up from apathy and passivity, and are praying fervently for our nation. If you are one of these people, it might comfort you to know that the fear, complacency or even apathy you have felt for some time is not entirely your fault, although the enemy would like you to believe it is! The truth is that there has been a “shroud of deception” (See Isaiah 25:7 for a biblical example of this) cast over the minds of believers, and not by the hands of Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump! In the words of Jesus in Matthew 13:28: “An enemy has done this.” Satan has deliberately deceived believers into thinking that our national situation is hopeless, beyond repair.Nothing could be further from the truth! YOU Are the Winner of the "Election!" Let me challenge you with a timely thought today: YOU are the winner of God’s election process! 1 Peter 2:9 reads: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light…” (NASB.) God chose you before the foundation of the world to go and bear fruit. Your testimony of His greatness is the crown that you cast at His feet, even now. Just as the enemy desired to quench the hope of our American nation, so he desires – on a daily basis – to quench the hope of a godly nation, which you are. Keep Reading
4. My father used to have a “personal proverb” he lived by, a saying I heard him repeat many times when I was young. He said: “Keep your expectations low. Don’t trust anybody, and you’ll never be disappointed.” To my little ears, this seemed like a pretty good formula for success; after all, who has not been betrayed or disappointed at some point in their life? His proverb, while it reeked of self-protection, seemed a sure guarantee for a pain-free life. Continue reading

Good idea! And Lynn, does ChristianWriters have a hashtag the group uses on Twitter? It is a little easier than cut and pasting everyones' info , and when posts are added we can tag to the group for help promoting each other. Just a thought! 7. Improve Your Daily Time with Jesus 6/15/2016 0Comments Studies show that only 1 in 5 Americans reads their Bible on a regular basis, even though 88% own a Bible.* If you're like most people, you want to connect with God - and even have what you need to do so - but life gets in the way. Distractions, necessities, and even emergencies pull you away from your scheduled time with God, and by the end of the day you feel frazzled, empty, and guilty. There's got to be a better way! 8. B Is For Bible

Maurice, After rereading your article I wanted to add a couple of comments. Since this contains a great deal of useful information, it might be helpful (when posting for online reading) to break it up into more navigable sections with titles or by topic. You might also consider using bullets for the acronyms like MAPS, to make it easier for readers to find/return to your key points, as I did. This helps them not to have to search through several paragraphs, and makes pertinent info stand out. You have such good info here, it almost warrants several articles - one for each topic or video you share! :-)
9. B Is For Bible

Maurice, I like the MAPS and BEE acronyms. What a great way to remember the verifiable truths of the Bible! Thank you for researching and sharing this! Deborah Perkins HisInscriptions.com
10. There’s no denying it: smartphones are, well, smart. Nifty and immensely helpful gadgets, they seem to do everything we need: connect us to our peeps, answer all our questions, and guide us to our destinations. We grab them when we wake up, and fall asleep with them in our hands. (See infographic, below). We drive with them, keep track of our kids with them, and work better with them. As a nation, we have become addicted to the kind of personal technology that helps us live life, lose weight, look smart, and keep up with the daily grind – yet still fits in our pocket. There really isn’t much a smartphone can’t do – and we like that – a lot! For those of Judeo-Christian backgrounds, however, the smartphone explosion looks uncannily like a scripture passage in Deuteronomy 6. It reads: Click Here to Read:

12. Grace: God's Message For 2016

That's awesome, Robin! Thanks for reading!
13. When Jesus needed to amplify His voice, He stepped into a boat and used the water as His "loudspeaker" (Mark 4:1). When God wants to reach the multitudes today, He often broadcasts one message through several different speakers. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but God has been broadcasting the message of GRACE on various channels, from the East Coast to the West. I am hearing about grace everywhere I go! The local Community Bible Study my husband and I just started is studying GRACE in Galatians. My women’s Bible study in central Massachusetts is looking at GRACE in Hebrews. Nationally, many leaders are speaking about God’s GRACE for the wounded and the outcasts, the kind of GRACE that can usher in a billion-soul harvest.* My own pastors just returned from a powerful sabbatical, preaching about GRACE. And... just in case I should miss it, God walked GRACE right through my front door the other night! Click here to continue Reading.
14. I had made it to church, at least. And the place was buzzing with excitement. Ministry time began, and those who needed prayer went forward. But I could not will my feet to move. I felt dead inside, indifferent. I had so effectively stifled my disappointment that I actually believed, standing there, that I did not need the restored hope that God was offering that day at the altar. I was okay. God could reach me right here, if He needed to. It was almost time to leave, anyway. Then God surprised me. Click here to continue reading, OR to listen to the YouTube 5-minute podcast!
15. Here is an encouraging word I received from the Lord this month for "creatives:" those who sing, write, dance, craft, paint, build, and worship creatively in the Kingdom of God, especially those who are venturing into new artistic endeavors. Feel free to share! Deborah "Use the time you have to create! A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which will bear fruit, and the creative process is one mean by which I draw forth your fruit. Click here to read more
